Heydar Aliyev Center. The cultural center includes an auditorium (congress center), a museum, exhibition halls, administrative offices. The project of the center was developed in 2007 by the famous architect Zaha Hadid. The construction of the building was covered on the channels of Discovery and Science Channel, dedicated to the most courageous engineering projects of modernity and architectural masterpieces of the world. The opening took place on May 10, 2012. In 2014, the Heydar Aliyev Center was awarded the Design of the Year. It is considered one of the symbols of modern Baku
Azerbaijan Carpet Museum displays Azerbaijani carpets and rug items of various weaving techniques and materials from various periods. It has the largest collection of Azerbaijani carpets in the world. It moved to a new building on the Baku's seafront park during 2014 from its former location on Neftchiler Avenue. The museum has become a research-training and cultural-educational center where many events, such as exhibitions, international symposiums, and conferences, are held. During its 50 years of existence, the museum has organized more than 30 exhibitions in different countries throughout the world.
Museum of Modern Art. The museum basis - is the collection of the best works of painting and sculpture of Azerbaijan avant-gardists from 2nd half of the 20th century up to now. The collection shows aspirations, strivings and freedom of human soul.
The museum is designed as a single organism combining art and sculpture, design and architecture. The author of the museum concept, architecture and design, the collection and exposition selection is the artist Altay Sadikh-zadeh.
The National Museum of History of Azerbaijan is the largest museum in Azerbaijan, located in Baku, in the former mansion of Azerbaijani oil magnate and philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev. It was founded in 1920 and opened to visitor in 1921
